Gateway is a mental health service company, currently looking for experienced Mental Health Professionals to fill the position of Behavioral Support Professional, providing positive support for individuals experiencing interfering behaviors. The ideal candidate(s) must have obtained a MA/MS, or preferably a PhD/Psy.D in behavioral sciences or related field with demonstrated expertise in Positive (Behavior) Support services or therapy. The individual must meet the qualification of a Mental Health Professional as defined by the MN stat.S148B.50 to 148B.593. Additionally, Candidates with the following credentials are strongly encouraged to apply: LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, or Registered Nurse under Minn.Stat.S148.171 to S148.285. with certification as clinical specialist or nurse Practitioner in adult or family psychiatry and mental health nursing, or MA in nursing or related field, or its equivalent with at least 4000 hrs of Post-master’s supervised experience in the the delivery of clinical services. Hours: flexible
This position is available for full-time (40 hours) or part-time (25-35 hours). The Job Coach/ILS Specialist is able to create their own schedule and is responsible for contacting clients to meet their desired number of hours each week.
The licensed Mental Health Professional will manage a caseload of 5-10 individuals
Complete Functional Assessments
Maintain a flexible schedule as jointly determined by client and the professional
Managing email every work day, remotely if needed
Keeping prompt communication with, or contact with clients, staff, and support teams via email, phone, and occasionally text (per employee discretion)
Self-manage client and staff schedules ensuring all hour requirements are being met
Be on time to all scheduled visits, meetings, and appointments
Participate and write clients’ positive and person-centered support plans, etc.
Completing all necessary documentation to assure compliance with all state and federal regulations. These may include, but are not limited to: daily data sheet and clinical notes, attendance logs, time records, incident reports, behavior reports, etc.
Assist the Executive Program Director and Senior Program Admin as needed.
Collaborate individual schedule with the individuals or legal representatives/guardians.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Program Director.
MA in Social Sciences required, Psy.D/PhD preferred, or at least 4000 hrs of post-master’s supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services.
Certification as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT or LICSW), or a Licensed Psychologist (LP), or completed 4000 hrs of clinical supervision required.
Ability to conduct Functional Behavioral assessments, design and implement positive behavioral plan and intervention with a desired outcome.
Valid driver’s license
Proof of proper vehicle insurance
Safe and reliable vehicle with ability to transport clients if needed
MUST pass Background Study and DHS Fingerprinting
Experience in areas of employment directly related to the performance of this job as included in the above job requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience using GSuite (GMail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets)
OneDrive experience preferred
